I’m Glad You’re Here,

My name is Emily, and I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with strength, self-assurance, and compassion. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their unique obstacles and unlock opportunities for growth. I believe in the value of individualized care, tailoring my approach to each person’s needs with empathy, understanding, and collaboration.

Sessions are guided by thought-provoking conversations that inspire self-awareness and encourage meaningful change – always in a space free of judgment. My technique combines a variety of therapeutic modalities. Some approaches I draw from include Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness. Therapy comes in many different shapes and sizes, but what matters most is finding the approach that feels right for you. Whether you’re navigating challenges at school, workplace stress, relationship dynamics with friends, family, or significant others, or facing personal hardships without clear explanations, I’m here to help with patience, thoughtfulness, and unwavering support.

Here’s a bit about me: I grew up in Arizona and spent 15 summers in beautiful Malibu at an overnight summer camp. This experience taught me the value of self-expression, building confidence, and embracing independence. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona’s W.A. Franke Honors College and later completed my MSW at Arizona State University. Moving to Los Angeles has been an exciting chapter in my journey, allowing me to engage professionally with people of all ages, collaborate with diverse groups, and grow under the guidance of exceptional mentors. Throughout my life, I’ve navigated the ups and downs of friendships, learned the importance of healthy, positive relationships, and gained personal insights that help me genuinely connect with others.

I look forward to working together and supporting you every step of the way!
